Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Higher Urban Planning Committee and Honorary President of the Bahrain Property Development Association, engaged in a significant meeting with Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning in the Sultanate of Oman, during the latter's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, and Faisal bin Hareb Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain. This engagement took place during a Bahraini-Omani briefing organised by the Bahrain Property Development Association.
Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah underscored the dedication to urban planning and development shown by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, aimed at fostering service and prosperity for both nations. He also highlighted the persistent follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his directives to the government.
Expressing gratitude to the Omani Minister for the visit, Shaikh Salman noted the enduring ties between Bahrain and Oman, emphasizing the expanding cooperation and exchange of expertise. He stressed the importance of such visits in developing partnerships and broadening investment opportunities within the sector.
Dr. Al Shuaili reaffirmed Oman's dedication to strengthening relations with Bahrain, praising the Kingdom's progress in urban development and its role in attracting investment. He expressed a keen interest in leveraging Bahrain's expertise and highlighted the significance of mutual visits for sharing experiences to benefit both countries.
