Samorin: The children of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, achieved distinguished results at the Samorin International Endurance Race, held in the Slovak Republic. Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa emerged victorious in the 100km international race for the junior and youth category, while His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa clinched first place in the 120km international race for the same category.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the horse of His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa did not pass the veterinary inspection in the 120km international race for the open category after the third stage. Additionally, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad participated in the 160km international race but was unable to finish due to an injury.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad expressed that participation in the Samorin International Race was positive and met many objectives set by the team as part of its preparatory programme. He noted that the riders' results reflect the amount of work carried out over the past period and represent an important step in their preparation for upcoming events, including the World Junior and Senior Endurance Championships to be held next year. His Highness emphasized the continued effort to build experience in international competitions.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad praised the strong performances of the Royal Endurance Team riders throughout the race in all categories, highlighting their dedication and high spirit during the competition.
