HH Shaikh Nasser Participates in Asian Equestrian Championships in Thailand


Pattaya: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, participated in the 120 km endurance race of the Asian Equestrian Championships held in Pattaya, Thailand. The event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and other esteemed members of the royal family.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the race comprised five stages featuring varied terrain and challenging endurance tests, maintaining strong competition until the final stage. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the benefits of participating in the championships, emphasizing the team’s enhanced readiness for future events. He praised the high standards and competitive level of the race, extending congratulations to the top three winners.



The race concluded with Emirati rider Saeed Ahmed Al Harbi securing first place, while Royal Endurance Team rider Saud Mubarak Sabt finished in second place, followed by Patanakol from Thailand in third. Unfortunately, the horse Everest La Maggiore did not pass the veterinary examination in the final stage. His Highness expressed his best wishes to all riders for their future endeavors in the sport.
