Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received Steven C. Bondy, the outgoing United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasized the longstanding Bahrain-US relations and strategic partnership, highlighting decades of close cooperation and coordination aimed at shared goals and mutual interests.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad praised the US Ambassador for his efforts in strengthening and advancing bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United States.
The meeting included discussions on various topics of common interest.
