Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, crowned Muharraq Club champions of the 2024 - 2025 Nasser bin Hamad Premier Football League, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Council, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. The final match, held at Muharraq Sports Stadium, saw Muharraq defeat Aali Club to claim the title.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad congratulated Muharraq Club, commending the efforts of the players, technical and administrative staff, and the Board of Directors, chaired by Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa. He highlighted the club's professionalism, teamwork, and consistency throughout the season.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad also commended the competitive spirit and technical standards shown by all participating clubs, underlining the role of the Bahrain Football Association, chaired by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, in ensuring the league's success.
