Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, attended the conclusion of His Majesty the King's Endurance Cup Festival, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation at the Bahrain International Endurance Village.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event was attended by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, as well as a Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad expressed pride in the success achieved by the festival, highlighting the strong competition among riders and significant participation, which underscored the status of Bahraini endurance races at both regional and international levels. He commended the high technical standards that contributed to the races being conducted proficiently, showcasing the development of endurance sport in the Kingdom.
During the event, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad presented awards to the winners. Rider Isa Hameed Al-Anezi from Team Victorious claimed first place in the 160-kilometre His Majesty the King's International Endurance Cup race. Rider Mohamed Al Subaie from Team KHK secured second place, while Faisal Al-Anezi from Team Victorious finished third.
In the 120-kilometre His Majesty the King's Local Cup race for private Gulf stables, Omani rider Mohammed Al Foori took first place. Rider Rashed Jamal from Al Safinat Stables was the runner-up, with Omani rider Azam Al Balushi finishing in third position.
