Budapest: His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, accompanied by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), attended the 2025 Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, where McLaren secured a first and second place.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the victory at the Hungarian Circuit in Budapest marks a milestone for McLaren, a team owned by Mumtalakat, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness commended McLaren's performance, noting that the victory reinforces the Kingdom of Bahrain's leadership and prominence in global motorsports.
