Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, received Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad praised the Bahrain Paralympic Committee's efforts in supporting athletes with determination and highlighted the Kingdom's ongoing commitment under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, along with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad emphasized the Committee's regional and international accomplishments, noting the development of para sports in the Kingdom. He expressed gratitude for the efforts of Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij and the Board of Directors in promoting the sector both locally and internationally.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij expressed his thanks to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for his continuous support, stating that the guidance provided is a significant incentive to further advance para sports in Bahrain.
