Bahrain: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, welcomed the national handball team back to the Kingdom of Bahrain after their triumph in the Asian Handball Championship held in the State of Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the reception took place at the Royal Terminal of Bahrain International Airport. It was attended by notable figures including Dr. Abdulrahman Askar, Chief Executive Officer of the General Sports Authority, Faris Al Kooheji, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and several members of the Bahrain Handball Federation's board.
During the event, His Highness expressed pride in the team's achievement, emphasizing that it signifies the progress of Bahraini handball and the ongoing support provided to athletes. He praised the players' performance and the efforts of the technical and administrative staff. His Highness also acknowledged the role played by the Bahrain Handball Federation, under the leadership of Ali Isa Ishaqi, in preparing the team and contributing to their success. His Highness extended his wishes for the national team's continued success in future competitions.
