Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, received Rasheed Mohamed Al Maraj, Chairman of the Board of the Social Insurance Organisation (SIO). The meeting was attended by Ayman bin Tawfeeq Almoayyed, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports; Yusuf bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour; and Sahar Rashid Al Mannai, Chief Executive Officer of SIO.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness praised the efforts of the Social Insurance Organisation in advancing the social insurance system and promoting sustainability in the insurance sector within the Kingdom of Bahrain. The discussions focused on topics of mutual interest and explored areas of cooperation between the two entities to support national goals and promote institutional integration.
Rasheed Mohamed Al Maraj expressed appreciation for His Highness's contributions to youth and sports initiatives. He reiterated the organisation's commitment to strengthening cooperation in support of the public interest, highlighting the importance of such collaborations in achieving shared objectives.
