Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has issued Edict (2) of 2026 regarding the appointment of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Modern Pentathlon Federation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decision follows a review of the Law on Social and Cultural Associations and Clubs, Private Organisations Operating in the Field of Youth and Sport, and Private Institutions promulgated by Decree-Law (21) of 1989 and its amendments. It also considers the Unified Statutes of Bahraini Sports Federations and is based on a proposal by the Secretary-General of the BOC.
Under Article (1) of the edict, the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Modern Pentathlon Federation is formed with Dr. Abdullah Nasser Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi appointed as chairman. The board includes members Saleh Faraj Sultan Farhan, Eyad Ali Mohsen Ali Abdullah Sabt, Tariq Juma Salem Bilal, Munira Mohammed Ali Shuwaiter, and Dina Yousif Hassan Fouladh.
Article (2) of the edict mandates that the Secretary-General and all relevant parties implement this decision within their respective areas of responsibility, with the decision taking effect immediately from the date of issuance.
