Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, received the champions of the 2023 - 2024 and 2024 - 2025 HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Gold Generation Athletics League.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness praised the league's achievements and impact since its launch. The initiative, spearheaded by the General Sports Authority in collaboration with various sports federations, has significantly boosted sporting activity and garnered increased technical, administrative, and media attention to age-group competitions.
His Highness expressed pride in the athletes' performance and competitive spirit.
