Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), emphasized that Bahraini Youth Day, observed annually on March 25, is a national occasion to recognize the youth as a driving force of the future and national development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad commended the ongoing support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of SCYS. He noted that youth remain a key priority within the Kingdom's development efforts.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad highlighted the commitment and accomplishments of Bahraini youth across various sectors. He remarked that Bahraini Youth Day reflects the Kingdom's recognition of their ongoing efforts, initiatives, and contributions.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad reiterated his full support for initiatives and programs that reinforce the role of youth and expand their participation in shaping the Kingdom's present and future.
