Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, received Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works. The meeting highlighted the commitment of His Highness to oversee infrastructure and sports facility projects across Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad praised the collaboration between the General Sports Authority and the Ministry of Works, stressing the importance of accelerating the development and maintenance of sports facilities. He was updated on the progress of several key projects and emphasized the necessity of adhering to the highest quality standards to meet the needs of national federations and clubs.
Minister Al Hawaj expressed gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for his ongoing support in improving sports infrastructure. He affirmed the Ministry's dedication to using all available resources to carry out projects in accordance with His Highness's directives and in partnership with relevant entities, hoping for continued progress and success for Bahraini sports.
