HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad: Bahrain Youth Day is a National Milestone for Celebrating Achievements

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), affirmed that Bahrain Youth Day, observed annually on March 25, serves as a significant national milestone to celebrate the talents and outstanding achievements of Bahraini youth across various domains.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad noted that youth are the primary pillar of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Highness explained that the qualitative achievements of Bahraini youth, particularly in the sports and youth sectors, reflect the significant support provided by the Government, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This support has empowered young people, providing them with opportunities to showcase their capabilities and refine their talents to serve the nation.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the SCYS, in supporting and encouraging Bahrain's youth.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad noted that this national occasion embodies the spirit of solidarity within Bahraini society, where youth stand alongside all segments of the community in a manner that reflects deep loyalty to the nation and its leadership. He emphasised that this cohesion is a key factor in the stability and progress of the Kingdom.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad underscored the importance of launching initiatives and programmes dedicated to youth to enhance their role in shaping the future, contributing to further achievements, and supporting sustainable development in the Kingdom.
