Riyadh: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has arrived in Riyadh to attend the remaining competitions of the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, which conclude on November 21. His participation is aimed at supporting the national teams and enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s presence at prominent sporting events.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness was received by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Saudi Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, along with several officials. They welcomed His Highness and emphasized the strong ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and their cooperation across sports domains.
His Highness’ attendance signifies his ongoing support for Bahraini athletes, ensuring close follow-up on their participation and readiness, and motivating them to achieve commendable results and represent Bahrain at this significant Islamic sporting event.
