Manama: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC), today met with Hiroshi Ito, the Counselor at the Japan Racing Association. His Highness emphasized the ongoing advancement of the Bahrain-Japan strategic partnership, which is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman noted that the recent visit of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to Japan marked a significant milestone in Bahraini-Japanese relations. This visit has further enhanced the partnership across various fields, including the equestrian and horse racing sectors.
His Highness highlighted the importance of the equestrian sector and emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to strengthening partnerships that support sustainable development. He underscored that the REHC High Committee is dedicated to expanding international cooperation, reinforcing Bahrain's position as a global destination for horse racing.
Hiroshi Ito expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and commended Bahrain's progress in organizing horse racing events. He also extended his best wishes to the Kingdom of Bahrain for continued progress and prosperity.
