London: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), met with His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the sidelines of the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The meeting was part of His Highness' attendance at the event on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman conveyed the greetings of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to King Charles III, along with their wishes for the UK's continued progress. In response, King Charles III extended his greetings to HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, expressing his hopes for Bahrain's continued development.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman emphasized the strong relations and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the UK, especially in horse racing and equestrian sports, which receive support from both monarchs. His Highness noted that this support has enhanced cooperation in the equestrian sector and contributed to its ongoing development.
The Kingdom of Bahrain's participation in the Royal Windsor Horse Show, a prestigious equestrian event, was highlighted by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman. The event attracts equestrian enthusiasts from around the globe. During his visit, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman toured the show's events, which included several shows and races. He commended the competition's level and organization, acknowledging its esteemed position among equestrian enthusiasts and wishing the organisers continued success.
