Manama: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, today visited the Al Jasra Interchange Development Project to mark its official opening. His Highness emphasized the significance of infrastructure projects in Bahrain's sustainable development, which is spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to advancing development programmes that enhance various sectors and improve government services. He stressed that strategic infrastructure projects, executed with high quality and efficiency, reflect the government's dedication, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support Bahrain's long-term development goals.
His Highness expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Works and other authorities for their efforts in completing the project, which is a significant road network initiative aimed at improving traffic flow across the Kingdom. He further mentioned that ongoing government projects are driven by Team Bahrain's determination to boost competitiveness, attract investments, and foster development initiatives that benefit the national economy and create opportunities for citizens.
His Excellency Engineer Ibrahim bin Hassan Al-Hawaj, Minister of Works, conveyed his gratitude for the governmental support in infrastructure development. The project aligns with Bahrain's comprehensive development goals and addresses urban growth demands, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Al Jasra Interchange Development Project focuses on improving access to Salman City and surrounding areas, providing a safe and efficient road network. The project extends 884 meters and is expected to increase the intersection's capacity by 33%, accommodating up to 57,000 vehicles daily.
