Davos: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), visited the Sultanate of Oman pavilion at the World Economic Forum's 55th Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. During the visit, HH met with His Excellency Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance of Oman, and members of Oman's delegation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman's leadership of a high-level Bahraini delegation at the World Economic Forum. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman reaffirmed the longstanding relations and historical bonds between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman. He highlighted that these ties are further strengthened by the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, contributing to the aspirations of both countries and their peoples.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman remarked that Oman's pavilion, which has been visited by several prominent participants of the World Economic Forum, serves as a platform for exchanging expertise and sharing best international practices across various economic sectors. The meeting also explored ways to enhance the Bahrain-Oman relationship in alignment with shared aspirations.
His Highness extended his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Oman. The meeting was also attended by HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials.
