Accra:His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, recently met with Henning Georg, the German Ambassador to Bahrain, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation in the field of sports.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Faris Al Kooheji, Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and Walid Al Alawi, a board member of the committee. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali conveyed greetings from His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, emphasizing the longstanding friendship between Bahrain and Germany and the importance of advancing sports partnerships.
The discussions focused on mutual interests, including developing technical and administrative personnel, exchanging expertise, and utilizing German experience in athlete development and talent identification to support Bahrain's sports initiatives. The German ambassador praised the progress of Bahraini sports and highlighted the significance of enhancing sports cooperation between the two nations.
