Manama: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, recently met with Dr. Ayse Hilal Sayan Koytak, Ambassador of the Republic of Trkiye to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting underscored the strong bilateral relations between the two nations, particularly in the realm of sports.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting included the presence of Fares Mustafa Al Kooheji, Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and Ahmed Mohammed Abdulghaffar, Chief Operations Officer. During the discussions, HH Shaikh Isa conveyed greetings from His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who holds several key positions, including First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
The dialogue focused on enhancing cooperation in the sports sector, with HH Shaikh Isa highlighting the progress in relations and the increasing level of coordination between Bahrain and Trkiye. He stressed the need to further advance these ties for mutual benefit.
Ambassador Dr. Koytak echoed these sentiments, noting the significance of such meetings in opening new avenues for collaboration in sports. She expressed her wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
