Al Raffa: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the second and final day of the second round of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup 2025 concluded at the Military Sports Federation arena at the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club in Al Raffa, Sakhir.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event was organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), in cooperation with the Emirates Arabian Horse Society. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, attended the championship and awarded the winners. Also in attendance was Fahad Mohammed Salem Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, alongside dignitaries and enthusiasts of Arabian horse beauty competitions.
The day featured spirited performances in the yearling colts, junior colts, and senior stallions classes, with participating horses demonstrating notable refinement and quality. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah commended the high standard of the entries and highlighted the dedication of breeders and owners to preserving the legacy of Arabian horses.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah expressed appreciation to the event's partners and sponsors, including diamond sponsor Bapco Energies; platinum sponsors Kooheji Contractors and Al Salam Bank; gold sponsor STC Bahrain; silver sponsors Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), Bahrain Marina, and Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC); and bronze sponsors the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Bahrain Flour Mills, Arabian Horse Equestrian Services, SICO Bank, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Y.K. In the yearling colts class, Bandar Al Manama, owned by Saeed Jaafar, won first place. AY Naif, owned by Ammar Yousef Jassim, came second, while Ezz Al Nawader, owned by Al Nawader Arabians, placed third. In the junior colts class, AJ Aryan, owned by Fadhel Abbas Al Jamri, won first place. Rayan AJ, owned by Abdullah Al Nuaimi, came second, and Lahif Al Rayes, owned by Sami Hassan Al Rayes, placed third. In the senior stallions class, AMS Shaheen, owned by Al Mudahka Stud, won first place. Mumayaz Al Layal, owned by Mohsen Ali Abdullah, came second, and AMS Jamal, also owned by Al Mudahka Stud, placed third.
At the conclusion of the event, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, accompanied by the UAE Ambassador, presented the honours to the winners and extended his congratulations, wishing all participants continued success in upcoming rounds of the championship.
