Manama: General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, received Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the National Guard Staff Director, was also present at the meeting.
According to Bahrain News Agency, General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa praised the cooperation between the National Guard and the BDF, emphasizing how it has facilitated numerous command and operational exercises and promoted the exchange of expertise. His Highness highlighted the pivotal role of the BDF in safeguarding the Kingdom's borders and upholding its sovereignty as the nation's first line of defence.
During the meeting, both sides discussed topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance military cooperation. They focused on reinforcing national security, stability, and the protection of Bahrain's achievements.
