Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, emphasized the importance of trusting young people as a cornerstone for future success. On International Youth Day, he highlighted that youth are not passive recipients but active participants in shaping their destinies.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness underscored that under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's leadership, Bahrain has long embraced a policy of involving youth in decision-making processes. This strategy focuses on nurturing talent, allowing young individuals to take initiative, thereby building a sustainable future. The approach is further supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who enhances national efforts to create an enabling environment for youth participation in development.

His Highness stated that genuine investment in youth involves listening to them, valuing their ideas, and matching their responsibilities with available opportunities. He noted that countries that place trust in their youth inspire them to take initiative and achieve.

HH Shaikh Nasser also highlighted the necessity for young people to continually learn and leverage modern technologies while staying rooted in the core values of the Bahraini culture. He recognized the ambition and competence of Bahraini youth as a vital resource for the nation's future.
