According to Bahrain News Agency, the call discussed regional developments following the continued Iranian attacks on Qatar and their impact on regional and international security and stability. They exchanged views on the effects of the escalation on global energy supplies and the importance of strengthening international efforts to ensure their stability and continued flow.
The French President commended Qatar's handling of the crisis, welcomed its calls for de-escalation, and affirmed France's support and solidarity with Qatar. Both sides also stressed the importance of de-escalation, particularly given its impact on global energy security, and discussed developments in Lebanon, emphasizing the need to intensify efforts to enhance stability in the region.
