Hezbollah: We targeted artillery positions, soldiers, and military vehicles of the Israeli army

The Lebanese Hezbollah announced today, Friday, that it had targeted artillery positions, soldiers, and a military vehicle of the Israeli army, confirming that it had achieved a direct hit.

Hezbollah said in two separate statements that ‘in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted, this Friday afternoon, the Israeli enemy’s artillery positions in Khirbet Ma’ar and the deployment of its soldiers in its vicinity with artillery shells

It added: ‘Also, this Friday afternoon, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted a military vehicle inside the Birkat Risha site with a guided missile, hitting it directly.’

Since the Hamas movement launched ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’ on October 7, 2023, and the devastating war on the Gaza Strip that followed, Hezbollah continues to carry out its operations against Israel, while the southern Lebanese border is witnessing a significant increase
in the number of operations amid warnings of the danger of the situation and calls for all parties to cease fire and exercise restraint.

Meanwhile, Israeli War Council Minister Benny Gantz confirmed today that ‘Israel will launch a military operation against Hezbollah if a political solution is not reached that puts an end to the party’s threats and allows the residents of the north to return to their homes.
