Heavy Rain Continues in South Korea for Third Day, Prompting Flood and Landslide Warnings

Manama: Torrential rain continued across South Korea for a third consecutive day, forcing more than 5,000 people to seek shelter, local authorities reported.

According to Bahrain News Agency, at least four people have died due to the severe weather, which also caused damage to property and infrastructure. Some southern regions recorded more than 400 millimetres of rainfall within 24 hours, an unprecedented amount.

Heavy rain warnings remain in effect across most western and southern parts of the country. The Korea Meteorological Administration has urged the public to exercise extreme caution due to the risk of landslides and flooding.
