Manama: The Ministry of Health celebrated Bahraini Women's Day, attended by Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, senior officials, Supreme Council for Women representatives, and female health professionals. The event highlighted women's role in national development and building an innovative, efficient healthcare sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the SCH Chairman commended Bahraini women for their achievements in healthcare, noting the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa in empowering women.
The health minister emphasized women's role in advancing healthcare services, contributing to national development, and occupying key decision-making roles.
