Manama:Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, held a meeting with Zakariya Ibrahim Al Kadhim, the Chairman of the Bahrain Society for Sickle Cell Disease Patients Care, along with members of the society's Board of Directors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized the ongoing efforts to enhance the healthcare sector and ensure the sustained delivery of top-quality health services, adhering to the highest medical standards, thus contributing to the community's health and well-being.
Dr. Hassan also acknowledged the Bahrain Sickle Cell Patient Care Society's significant role in supporting patients and increasing community awareness. She praised the society's initiatives and its collaboration with relevant health authorities to bolster national efforts in this field.
Zakariya Ibrahim Al Kadhim, on his part, praised the Ministry of Health for its continuous support and dedication to providing care for individuals with sickle cell disease. He highlighted the effective cooperation and partnership between the ministry and the society in achieving their mutual goals.
