Manama: Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, received Zakariya Ibrahim Al Kadhem, Chairman of the Bahrain Sickle Cell Society, along with members of its board of directors. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Al Nawakhda, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Health.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister highlighted the ministry's dedication to advancing health programmes and enhancing the medical system. These initiatives aim to sustain the quality of services and fortify Bahrain's standing at both regional and international levels.
Dr. Hasan stressed the importance of the society's role as an active community partner. She acknowledged its efforts in supporting and enhancing healthcare services, ensuring they meet national aspirations in terms of efficiency and quality.
Zakariya Ibrahim Al Kadhem expressed gratitude for the Ministry of Health's ongoing support and efforts to improve healthcare services in Bahrain. He praised the existing partnership with the health sector and emphasized the society's commitment to strengthening cooperation to achieve common goals.
