Manama: Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, noted that dedicating a day to Bahraini doctors underscores Bahrain's commitment to supporting their contributions, recognising the pivotal role of medical professionals in national achievements. According to Bahrain News Agency, during her remarks on Bahraini Doctor's Day, held on the first Wednesday of November each year, she expressed appreciation for doctors' dedication to providing healthcare across the Kingdom. The minister highlighted Bahraini doctors as symbols of knowledge, compassion, and innovation, continuously enhancing healthcare standards. She emphasised the ministry's commitment to supporting and developing medical talent, fostering a work environment that enables excellence, and advancing healthcare quality in line with global standards. She added that, despite growing health challenges, Bahraini doctors have proven capable of upholding national health objectives, supporting an advanced and sustainable healthcare system.
