Manama: Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, chaired a meeting of the National Taskforce for Combating Communicable Diseases as part of regular meetings to review national efforts in preventing infectious diseases and enhancing health preparedness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed and monitored several indicators related to surveillance and prevention, discussed infection control issues, and considered means to improve preventive measures, as well as global health updates.
The Health Minister underlined the importance of continued cooperation between relevant bodies to support public health efforts and improve readiness to respond to any health developments.
