Manama: Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and title sponsor of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025, marked its 75th anniversary with a special flypast at this year's race, coinciding with Formula 1's own 75-year milestone.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the commemorative flypast featured Gulf Air's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, underscoring the airline's commitment to innovation and operational excellence. The display also reflected the airline's longstanding role in supporting Bahrain's prominent position in international motorsport.
Gulf Air has served as title sponsor of the Bahrain Grand Prix since its inaugural edition in 2004, contributing to the Kingdom's status as a global destination for major sporting events. The airline extended its congratulations to the Kingdom's leadership on the continued success of the event, commending the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in strengthening Bahrain's standing on the world stage.
This year's flypast served as a tribute to Gulf Air's legacy and symbolised a forward-looking vision of continued growth and partnership between the airline, Formula 1, and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
