Good Word Society Enhances Diabetes Care for Children with Insulin Pump Donation

Manama: Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and Honourary President of the Good Word Society, praised the Society's efforts in supporting critical health projects that improve quality of life for vulnerable groups, reflecting its national commitment.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Isa also acknowledged the Supreme Council of Health's leadership, chaired by Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in advancing Bahrain's health insurance transformation. The Kingdom's health achievements stem from the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance healthcare quality for all residents.

The Good Word Society recently donated seven insulin pumps in a ceremony attended by the SCH Chairman, who commended the Society's impactful community programmes benefiting elderly, people with determination, children, women, and youth.

The partnership will provide vital medical devices to children with diabetes, supporting effective condition management. The SCH remains committed to delivering high-quality healthcare accessible to all.

Insulin pumps are wearable devices that deliver precise insulin doses continuously, helping patients manage blood sugar levels and improve overall health.
