Manama: Gold prices rose on Friday, with spot gold up by 0.7% to $4,051.97 an ounce as of 1128 GMT. U.S. gold futures for August delivery saw an increase of 0.5%, reaching $4,067.50 per ounce. According to Bahrain News Agency, other precious metals also experienced gains. Spot silver rose by 0.8% to $58.33 per ounce, while platinum increased by 1.3% to $1,622.30. Palladium saw the highest rise, climbing 2.5% to $1,213.76. Despite these increases, all metals were projected to finish the week with losses.
