Hanoi:Gold prices fell 0.6% during Monday's trading session. The decline was influenced by a stronger US dollar and rising oil prices, following gains in the previous two sessions.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Gold futures for December delivery dropped by $26.10, settling at $4,190.20 per ounce. The US Dollar Index, which evaluates the dollar against a basket of major currencies, increased by 0.3% to reach its highest level in a year. This rise in the dollar's value added pressure on dollar-denominated gold, making it more expensive for investors holding other currencies.
