Manama: As part of the Ministry of Interior's commitment to strengthening community partnership and national belonging, the General of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing coordinated with beneficiaries of alternative penalties to distribute Ramadhan baskets to families benefiting from the Open Prisons programme in all governorates of the Kingdom for the third consecutive year.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative reflects the Ministry's keenness to enhance the integration of beneficiaries from alternative penalties into society, develop their values of citizenship, and uphold the values of Islam based on generosity and compassion.
Aligned with Bahrain's long-standing traditions of charity and humanitarian initiatives, this initiative reinforces social solidarity, supports people in need, and alleviates financial burdens on low-income families, underscoring the Kingdom's commitment to noble values.
