Riyadh: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received Shahin Abdullayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia. The meeting focused on evaluating the progress of the 2024-2028 Joint Action Plan between the GCC and Azerbaijan, which was adopted in November 2023.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Joint Action Plan is designed to enhance cooperation and relations between the GCC and Azerbaijan in areas of shared interest. This includes political coordination, trade cooperation, investment opportunities, and energy. The plan also encompasses various other topics intended to strengthen the partnership between the two sides.
