GCC Secretary General Engages in Strategic Talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister

New york: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), engaged in discussions with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of Egypt, during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing the dialogue and strategic partnership between the GCC and Egypt. Discussions aimed at strengthening and developing relations in various fields to achieve shared objectives.

The dialogue also covered the latest regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the situation in the Gaza Strip. Both leaders addressed the violations by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people.

Both parties underscored the necessity of joint efforts to achieve a ceasefire, deliver urgent aid, and resolve the crisis to maintain regional and international security and stability.
