Manama: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, engaged in a discussion with Jason Buntin, Deputy Assistant United States Trade Representative for the Middle East and North Africa, about the latest developments in the GCC-US Investment Dialogue during a phone call. Both parties shared their hopes that the upcoming dialogue will bolster investment and economic ties between the GCC countries and the United States.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Albudaiwi emphasized the GCC's interest in addressing various topics during the sixth session of the dialogue. These topics include trade and investment facilitation, the digital economy, cybersecurity, agriculture, food security, and resilient supply chains. Additionally, discussions will cover advanced and green infrastructure, industrial and technological cooperation, and intellectual property.
