GCC Secretary-General Condemns Iranian Attacks on UAE

Manama: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed the GCC's strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Albudaiwi affirmed that the attacks constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of a GCC member state and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability. The Secretary-General stressed that targeting the UAE is unacceptable and condemned by all standards, reflecting an escalatory approach that disregards international law and the principles of good neighbourliness.

Albudaiwi called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to halt these repeated attacks and put an immediate end to actions that undermine regional and international peace and security. The Secretary-General reiterated the GCC's full solidarity with the UAE, affirming unified support for all measures taken to protect its security, safeguard its sovereignty, and ensure the safety of its vital facilities.
