GCC Secretary General Condemns Drone Attacks Targeting Saudi Arabia

Manama: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), has condemned the attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, which involved drones launched by Iran-backed militias from Iraqi territory. These actions have been described as a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of international law, and a direct threat to regional security and stability.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Secretary General emphasized the GCC's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He expressed support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Albudaiwi's statements highlight the growing concerns over regional tensions and the importance of maintaining stability in the Gulf region.
