GCC and Jordan Ambassadors in Moscow Discuss Regional Security with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister

Moscow: The Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Jordan to the Russian Federation met with Alexander Alimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for International Organisations, at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation. The discussions focused on recent regional developments, particularly the repercussions of ongoing Iranian attacks on countries in the region.

The ambassadors and the Russian deputy minister exchanged views on strengthening diplomatic efforts to support regional security and stability. They also deliberated on measures to ensure the safety and security of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding areas.
