Moscow: The Gulf Cooperation Council ambassadors to the Russian Federation, led by Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Russia, convened with Georgy Borisenko, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister and Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa. This meeting took place at Borisenko's office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ambassadors presented Borisenko with a statement from the Extraordinary Meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council regarding the Iranian aggression against GCC states. The discussion focused on developments in the Gulf region and emphasized Russia's role as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. The ambassadors sought support to stop Iranian attacks on GCC states, which have led to substantial material and human damage to essential civilian infrastructure.
