Abu dhabi: The General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates has announced the start of exceptional flight operations at the country's airports, to enable stranded passengers affected by recent regional developments to depart, in accordance with schedules to be announced by airlines to the relevant destinations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Authority stated that these flights will be operated in coordination with airlines, with affected passengers to be informed directly by the respective carriers of their flight times and details.
The Authority urged passengers whose flights have been affected not to proceed to airports before receiving official notification from their airlines, in order to avoid congestion and ensure smooth procedures within airports, contributing to efficient operational movement.
The Authority expressed its appreciation for passengers' cooperation and compliance with the issued instructions, stressing that adherence to the guidelines plays a key role in facilitating procedures and ensuring orderly operations across the country's airports.
