France’s Annual Inflation Rate Declines to 1.8% in June

France: France's annual inflation rate eased to 1.8% in June, driven by slower increases in energy, services, and food prices. According to Bahrain News Agency, data released by the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) showed the final annual inflation rate remained at 1.8% in June. The annual increase in energy prices slowed significantly to 11.0%, compared with 16.6% in May. The institute also reported that the annual growth in services prices eased to 1.9% in June, down from 2.1% in May, reflecting slower increases in transport and communications prices.
