Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone call with Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Dr. Al Zayani expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's appreciation to the Government of Turkmenistan for its cooperation during these difficult circumstances. He also thanked the Turkmen authorities for the measures and facilities provided to enable Bahraini citizens to enter Turkmenistan and to support their safe departure by air to Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, both sides emphasized their commitment to continuing joint efforts and enhancing coordination between the two countries to overcome all obstacles and complete the evacuation of Bahraini citizens from Turkmenistan. This discussion is part of the preparation for their repatriation to Bahrain.
