Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a telephone call today from Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The discussion underscored the ongoing strong relations and collaboration between Bahrain and Jordan. According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Bahrain, the two ministers reviewed the close fraternal relations between the two nations and emphasized the advanced level of bilateral cooperation across various fields. This cooperation is aimed at supporting their shared interests and objectives. The conversation also covered the latest regional developments, with a particular focus on efforts to preserve regional security and stability. The ministers discussed the importance of safeguarding freedom of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, a key strategic waterway.
