Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The two sides discussed the strong relations between the two countries and their peoples, and the progress and growth witnessed across various fields, as well as ways for enhancing cooperation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministers also discussed the latest regional and international developments, the repercussions of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on international trade and the global economy. They stressed the importance of intensifying regional efforts to support security and stability in the region. They also exchanged views on issues of common interest.
